Musical Instruments

The gift of a drum from a Cree Indian in Canada triggered a lifelong passion for Charles Marson, whose love of musical instruments grew into a collection of more than 800 pieces from around the world. In 2002, he donated the collection to the Queensland Museum. Here are just twelve examples of his beautiful and bizarre instruments.
